Usage Policy

1. Purpose

This Usage Policy governs how you interact with Sundain's platform, AI systems, and community. By using Sundain, you agree to follow these guidelines. We want to build a space where people connect meaningfully — these rules exist to protect that.

2. Acceptable use

You may use Sundain to:

  • Have genuine conversations with our AI to explore your interests, needs, and goals.
  • Connect with other users through our matching system.
  • Build and manage your cognitive profile.
  • Communicate with matched users respectfully and authentically.

3. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Manipulate the AI: attempt to game the profiling system, inject false information to influence matches, or exploit the AI for purposes outside the platform's intent.
  • Harass or harm: engage in bullying, threats, hate speech, discrimination, or any behavior that makes others feel unsafe.
  • Impersonate: create fake identities, pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent yourself in ways that deceive other users.
  • Spam or solicit: use the platform for unsolicited advertising, recruitment schemes, or commercial solicitation.
  • Exploit vulnerabilities: attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer the AI, or probe for security weaknesses without authorization.
  • Share harmful content: distribute illegal content, malware, or material that violates others' rights.
  • Create multiple accounts: maintain more than one active account per person.
  • Scrape or automate: use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the platform without explicit permission.

4. AI interactions

Our AI is designed to understand you and help you connect with others. When conversing with the AI:

  • Be authentic — the system works best when you are genuine.
  • Understand that the AI is not a therapist, legal advisor, or medical professional. It is a tool for social connection.
  • Do not attempt to use the AI to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.

5. User-to-user interactions

When Sundain connects you with another person, you are expected to treat them with respect. This means:

  • Respecting boundaries and consent in all interactions.
  • Not sharing another user's information outside the platform without their permission.
  • Reporting behavior that violates this policy.

6. Content ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create on Sundain. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your content as necessary to provide the service (e.g., AI analysis for profiling when you have opted in).

7. Enforcement

We may take action if you violate this policy, including:

  • Issuing warnings.
  • Temporarily or permanently suspending your account.
  • Removing content that violates this policy.
  • Reporting illegal activity to authorities.

We aim to be fair and proportionate. Where possible, we will explain our reasoning and give you a chance to respond before taking permanent action.

8. Reporting violations

If you encounter behavior that violates this policy, please report it to [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
